Travel Protection

Protect Your Trip

Highly recommended for every traveler. Must be purchased within 7 days of your deposit. Both plans cover cancel-for-any-reason prior to travel, plus post-departure protection for trip interruption or delay, missed connections, baggage issues, and up to $25,000 in emergency medical expenses and evacuation.

The key difference: GPP gives a future travel credit; GPP+ refunds to your original payment method.

Getting There

Flying In

Grantley Adams International

BGI is the main airport, located in Christ Church — about 20 minutes from Sea Breeze. Direct flights from most major US cities.

Direct Flights

American, JetBlue, Delta, and United all fly direct to Barbados from Atlanta, New York, Charlotte, Miami, and Boston. About 4–5 hours from the East Coast.

Book Early

We recommend booking flights no later than January 2027. Aim to arrive Monday June 21 — you’ll want every single day.

VIP Fast Track

Skip the immigration and customs lines at Grantley Adams with VIP Fast Track service. Estimated around $150 per person round trip — inquire with Tasya to coordinate for your group.

Grantley Adams International is about a 20-minute drive from Sea Breeze. Tasya can arrange a private transfer directly at booking — just send her your flight details and she’ll handle the rest.

Want the freedom to roam? Tasya can arrange a rental car through Vibewell Voyages. A few things to know: Barbados drives on the left, and an international driving permit is recommended.

Barbados Basics

Currency

Barbadian Dollar (BBD). 2 BBD = 1 USD. Most places accept USD and major credit cards.

No Visa Required

US citizens do not need a visa. Valid passport required. Return ticket recommended.

Language

English is the official language. Bajan Creole is widely spoken — you’ll love the accent.

Weather

June is the start of the rainy season, but don’t let that scare you — expect 87°F, 8 hours of sunshine daily, and brief tropical showers that come and go fast. Pack sunscreen.

Add an international plan or buy a local SIM at the airport. Sea Breeze has resort WiFi.

Electric Outlets

115V/50Hz with Type A & B plugs — the same as the US. No adapter needed if you’re coming from the States.
